Free Pitch Corrector and Autotune VST effect
Again Computer Music Magazine comes up trumps finding excellent new VST plugins.
This time they’ve found g200kg’s Pitch Corrector/Autotune ‘KeroVee’
‘KeroVee is a PitchCorrection plugin that works as a VST effect. You need to use KeroVee.dll with your VST compatible host application. ex) Cubase, Sonar,…
KeroVee is focused to so-called ‘Autotune effect’, that is robotic but different from the vocoder. KeroVee can mix two independent transposed outputs of pitch-corrector and bypassed output.’

Also,
Square 1 Synth
“The warmness and classic sound of the vintage analog synthesizers, combined with the fidelity and precision of a VST instrument.
A simple synthesizer, oriented to the serious music enthusiast. High quality sound with a warm and easy layout, perfect to learn synth programming: all controls in one panel for instant access, clear and distinctive sections. Free Drum VST: CM-505 well almost.
Another great reason to get Computer Music magazine is the CM-505.
‘The CM-505 is a 24 note-polyphonic VST drum synthesizer. The instrument is designed specifically for creating synthetic drum sounds; no samples are used to create its sounds, not even a single cycle. The sounds created by the CM-505 have their roots in classic analogue drum machines. Although the CM-505 can replicate many of the sounds of these classic analogue drum machines, it also extends them into new sonic territory.’
The CM-505 comes bundled with loads of other free vst plugins on the disc that comes free with Computer Music every month.
Also the articles, reviews and tutorials make the magazoine worth it’s cover price alone.
The DVD disc crammed with lot’s of music making goodies just makes the magazine a great buy.
Free VST Drum Sampler: Loopazoid
Loopzazoid by NextSoft is my favourite Drum Sampler VST,
It’s not out of the box because you need to create your own kits.
If like me you’ve got shed loads of drum samples it’s really easy to set up a kit.
Your samples though will probably need converting as Loopazoid only accepts samples at 16bit.
It’s free, it works and it’s totally customizable.
VST2 virtual drum sampler with 48 channels, 64 voices (stereo or mono), 4 stereo outputs. Compatible with 8/16 Bit WAV/AIFF samples.
Supported platforms: VST2 plugin for MacOS / Windows
