Free Reverb VST Plugin: Tal Reverb
Another free reverb effect to add to your vst plugins folder the TAL-Reverb is a free open source stereo plate reverb based on juce.
Its very diffuse and has its own sound because of its special signal routing.
Slight modulated delay times avoid artefacts in the reverb tail and give this reverb its smooth sound.
Maybe you try it on some percussion sounds to find out if you like it. Because of the few knobs, this plugin should be is easy to use.

Kjaerhus Audios free ‘Classic Reverb’ vst plugin.
Classic Reverb is a nice and smooth reverb that does a good job on almost any instrument. It can be adjusted to sound like most any acoustic space, ranging from a small shower to a large concert hall. With the “Hi-Damping” control, it is possible to change the sound from bright and sibilant to a more natural / warmer sound.

PSP Piano Verb: Free VST Plugin Reverb
PSP PianoVerb is a completely free plug-in for any VST, MAS and DirectX compatible host (such as Cubase, Logic, Nuendo, Sonar, DigitalPerformer). It reproduces special kind of reverberation originally provided by piano strings. It generates reverberation using twelve string operators with adjustable damping and decay time. Each of them is tuned to a particular note starting from A(55Hz) to a G#(103.8Hz). The PSP PianoVerb string system can be transposed in the range of +-24 semitones, tuned within a range of +-100 cents and be detuned as well. Transposing to lower octaves produces a bigger and less resonant sound similar to traditional reverbs, while in turn transposing to higher octaves produces a very bright harp-like effect.

Ambience is a reverb that rivals the quality of the best commercial reverbs. You are free to decide yourself how much you want to pay for it, and when.
On my laptop the dsp load seemed pretty good. And the effect itself has a really nice sound to it.
This nifty little reverb comes with lots of presets and is fairly easy to use.
A nice little edition to the many free vst plugins available.
