As a fan of zombie films I was sort of looking forward to this.

Basically it’s a weird mix of Joe Dante style 1950′s nostalgia and Night Of The Living Dead zombies.

The premise is that after a zombie infection and zombie war a scientist invents a way of domesticating zombies so that they can be used as milkmen, gardeners etc…

Bizarrely Billy Connelly plays the main zombie ‘Fido’ – who is hired by the mother of the main character.

We then have a One Boy and his zombie pet scenario.

It’s weird and managed to creep me out, but I did drift off half way in.

It’s a cool idea but it kind of loses itself and turns into a kids movie and that’s its main problem.

It wants to be a zombie film and it wants to be a kids film, you can’t be both.
